This month has been filled with nothing but rain plus thunderstorms… It’s raining when I get up plus it’s still storming when I eventually go to sleep.
The river level has gone up numerous feet in the past week.
It’s a really tough time to task in an outdoor field… Even though most of my work happens to be indoors, there are absolutely times when I have to be outside. The storms were really awful this day plus it seems like it was raining harder than ever during the last few days. The rain was falling pretty much like a sheet of glass plus every bead felt like a pin prick. I was soaked to the bone with rain by noon every afternoon this week. It was stinging my eyes plus my cheeks. I was working on an outdoor heating appliance repair most of the week. I started working on the heating appliance repair on Sunday in the morning. I had to order multiple heating appliance parts to complete the task, so I could not go back until Tuesday morning. It rained a great deal all afternoon plus I had to go back to my dwelling to change my boots plus clothes at lunch. I was completely wet from head to toe plus my legs were starting to chafe. It’s really challenging to labor in the rain, especially when it’s frigid plus dreary outside. I honestly wish the rainy season was practically over, but it just started a couple of weeks ago. We have another month of steady rain plus thunder to deal with. I do not even get how some people reside in areas where it rains non-stop. The dark skies make me feel absolutely nervous plus depressed. I’d rather live somewhere sunny plus sizzling all the time.
