I am not a big fan of having to work in severe rain

I do not actually know how some people are comfortable with living in areas where it rains constantly

This week has been completely filled with rain and heavy thunderstorms. It’s raining when I wake up in the morning and it’s still storming when I go to sleep at night. The river level has gone up quite a few feet in the past week. It’s a very challenging time to work in an outdoor field. Even though most of my job is indoors, there are certainly times when I have to be outside to do work. The storms were especially severe today and it seems as though it was raining harder than the last few days. The rain was falling pretty much like a sheet of glass and those beads felt like pin pricks. I was totally soaked and drenched with rain by noon every single day this week. It was stinging my eyes and our cheeks severely. I was actually working on an outdoor furnace repair through the week. I started working on the furnace repair on Tuesday morning. I had to order several furnace parts to complete the assignment, so I could not go back until Wednesday morning. It rained and rained all morning and I had to go home and change my boots and clothes during my lunch. I was completely wet from head to toe and my legs were easily beginning to chafe. It’s quite strenuous to actually work in the rain, especially when it’s freezing and completely dreary outside. I wish the rainy season was just about over, however it just started a few weeks ago. Every one of us has another week of severe rain and thunder. I do not actually know how some people are comfortable with living in areas where it rains constantly. The dark skies make me feel entirely sad and depressed. I’d rather live in a place that is sunny and hot all the time.
