It’s shocking how it doesn’t take a lot to keep me ecstatic for long.
This is a balance I’ve been searching for throughout my entire adult life.
However, I’ve been attempting to discover that ecstatic balance through means that were not suited for me. I remember the first time I felt that I knew how to balance life when I was young & using recreational marijuana. Using recreational cannabis gave me a certain freedom and I love how connected I felt. It was a curious feeling however it was a single of the most authentic feelings I experienced. It is too terrible that I put away recreational marijuana in favor of my career. Once I accepted my job, it was pretty much all encompassing. That feeling of unity & calm when using recreational cannabis evaporated from my life completely. Decades passed before, on a whim, I shared what is now legal weed. That interesting feeling came rushing back & it was just as authentic as it had been numerous years ago. This shifted my perspective about how much my happiness was revolving around money & materialistic things. In an instant I discovered that none of that was necessary. So now, I make a quarterly trip to the legal cannabis dispensary in town, because they have all sorts of legal weed options to sample. There are also CBD products to sample as well. Having access to legal marijuana has done nothing however improve my overall life & how I live it. I am much more attentive to my life & have explored a passion for my career that I never knew existed.
