Air filtration unit is really getting harder to find and that is a problem each and every day; Since the middle of January, media air cleaners and other air filtration unit have been disappearing off the shelves of hardware stores and supercenters everywhere! Everyone was concerned about the coronavirus and rightfully so! The threat is still severe and there are still a number of cases of curing every single day! Now the west coast is facing another immense crisis.
- That threat is the steady and out of control burning of trees.
There are thoUSnds of acres of forest areas on fire and many people have been forced to evacuate from their homes, however homeowners 30 or 40 miles away from the fire are feeling effects from the smoke and ash… Unfortunately, there are no media air cleaners or air filtration unit available. The effects from breathing in smoke and ash can be deadly to some, then if you do not have a way to clean the indoor air, then it is pressing to protect yourself by trying to avoid direct contact with smoke, and wear a face covering or mask or tight-fitting respirator, don’t go outdoors unless it is undoubtedly necessary, then my wife and I own a home in the hills and both of us are about 50 miles away from the closest Wildfire. Still, both of us can smell smoke in the air and both of us see particles of ash on our car, house, and sod. We’ve been unable to locate an media air cleaner to keep in our home, so both of us are doing the best both of us can to stay indoors.
