I’m not used to being alone anymore.
- Ever since my son went overseas, my hubby and I have been taking care of our ten-year-old grandson.
He is a fascinating young man. He wants to suppose everything he can learn about everything. My hubby is an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist. He works some long hours and our grandson adores him. He even asked if he could go along on his service calls so he could learn more about a/cs and gas furnaces. My hubby was glowing, however he was so cheerful to have this young guy want to tag along with him. When he was called to a house because the gas furnace wasn’t working, he took Mason with him. The gas furnace ultimately had to be replaced. The owners hadn’t changed the air filters, which caused a lack of airflow. The airflow had been blocked off for quite some time because it had caused irreparable mangle to the gas furnace. My hubby told them they were lucky to have called for Heating, Ventilation, and A/C service when they did. They could have ended up with carbon monoxide leaking into the house, which could be deadly. Later that week, my hubby was working his regular shift with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. My grandson disappeared for a couple hours. At first I thought nothing about it until I heard him coming from the basement. He told me he had changed the air filters in the gas furnace and the a/c unit. He wanted nothing happening to me if the air filters were neglected and carbon monoxide leaked into the air. I don’t suppose what I did before I had him around all the time.
