I could not believe the fact that when I went to my local grocery store the other week, that it was closed! It had a sign in the window that said “closed for repairs”.
And I was thinking to myself…repairs for what? How can a grocery store need to be repaired in the way of closing down?! After researching more of it, I found out that it was because they needed a brand new commercial heating and air conditioning system unit. The fact that the weather is so extreme this time of the year, without any kind of HVAC system, customers would not be wanting to shop there anyhow, and the employees would not want to come and work there. So it made sense. The commercial heating and air conditioning system was supposed to be installed within a week. I was glad that there was a few other grocery stores I could go to in the meantime. Their prices were higher, but what choice did I have? If the regular grocery store did not have working heating and air conditioning, there was not much I could do about the situation other than wait it out like everyone else and shop elsewhere in the meantime. Finally the regular grocery store was back opened for business, and the commercial heating and air conditioning system was fully functional and working great! I was glad to know that they were able to replace the commercial heating and air conditioning unit in a pretty timely manner. Like I said, HVAC systems are really needed around here.
