I am a worker at a nearby factory in my town. In the factory, there are multiple large gas furnaces plus machinery of every kind scattered throughout the building. As a single would expect, the gas furnaces produce an extreme amount of heat plus noise. At times the furneses would make it so hot that many of the men working hard would need to get fresh air because they were overheating! This would happen several times in the afternoon and it was time to stop. Every one of us went to our manager to petition a complaint about the gas furnaces and I recommended that either there be put several windows in the factory that would allow fresh air to come in plus out or a couple of air conditioners would be installed by an air conditioner serviceman. The manager took it to the board of managers where they discussed putting in windows, or air conditioners or maybe moving the gas furnace’s location to a better ventilated area. They finally decided to install some heavy duty air conditioners. Every one of us were all glad to finally be working in an air conditioned building! The air conditioning servicemen came to begin installing the air conditioners for us and I’ve never been more thrilled! When the air conditioner servicemen were finished installing the units, me and some friends took them out for supper to show them our gratitude. After supper, one of my friends asked the air conditioner serviceman to show us how the Heating plus A/C plan works so any of us could do minor repairs to the air conditioners when needed. It has been a few weeks since the air conditioning servicemens installed the air conditioners andI can’t tell you how great it’s been particularly working in an air conditioned environment. Our work has been boosted since we are no longer in furnace heat but instead, cooling air.
