I’m never ready to see the Summer get here because it gets so dang hot and we have to run the air conditioning basically night and day.
But I’ve always taken the beginning of Summer as a win because I’m finally through the worst of the allergy problems that come with Spring.
In our region, we actually see a yellow covering on the cars by the end of February at the latest. And the pollen just keeps coming as just everything is blooming all the time. Since I was little, I have just been wiped out by allergies. All I ever really wanted was just a bit of space where I knew there wasn’t any pollen. But that’s a tall order around here. Yet this Spring, that dream of a pollen free zone came true thanks to the HVAC professionals. Not only do I have a little space that I can count on to be pollen free, I have the whole house as a pollen sanctuary. Thanks to the whole home air purification system installed inside our HVAC equipment, I have a tool that simply destroys pollen in the air. This sort of air purifier isn’t the traditional sort. Those air purifiers do a good enough job but they trap and remove indoor air contaminants. That means you have to move it around the house and then, there is an air filter to clean just about weekly. I wasn’t all that interested in that sort of air purifier. That’s why I’m in love with the whole home air purification system. It works inside the HVAC equipment and the UV light destroys all the bad stuff in the air. And yes, that goes for tree and grass pollen as well.
