I had to take my A/C business online

For some, the adjustment to moving their business online was easier, however for others, it wasn’t.

When computers and especially cellphones skyrocketed in popularity, it seemed like everyone became obsessed with being online and creating a social media page. Naturally, a lot of businesses seeing this as an opportunity, started creating their own social media pages for their companies. For a while, I didn’t create an online presence, because I am not a fan of change. Despite not having an online presence apart from a small website, my A/C business still did fairly well. However, I couldn’t help but to notice the HVAC corporations around me were getting an advantage, and despite me disliking change, I knew that I was going to have to do something. Even with my website online and its professional web design, it wasn’t going to do much for me if I didn’t join social media. So I joined the most popular social media websites there were, and started promoting my HVAC business there. Finally, this seemed to gain some attention, and having one of our HVAC technicians post weekly updates on HVAC technology and equipment, as well as sales, boosted the A/C company even further. I still have a lot of learning to do online. I want to eventually try and learn more about online marketing from a digital marketing company, but so far, I am proud of how far we’ve come. I feel like the future of my heating and A/C corporation is bright.
