` When you become a functional adult, you tend to get bombarded with all kinds of advertisements.
On a bi-weekly basis, if not moreso, I would say that I receive at least twenty or thirty ads either via mail or text and they range in topics from lifestyle, home improvement, food, and beauty.
I will normally delete all my junk mail instantly because I don’t want it cluttering my mind and space. The other afternoon though, I saw that I received a text advertisement and I almost threw it out thinking it was useless to me, but right before I sent it to the trash, I saw that it was an advertisement from the local HVAC supplier that I used. They were offering me a reminder about the upcoming seasonal change and how it was a fine time to schedule my gas furnace tune up. I loved getting the reminder, however I was more drawn to the annual comfort system they were advertising near the bottom. I didn’t know this, however the HVAC supplier had an annual HVAC system that I should sign up for and it sounded brilliant. I paid one fee and I would earn several HVAC tune ups each year, a discount on parts, a discount on labor, and priority scheduling. I thought this sounded very appealing and I didn’t want to miss out on it! I called the number at the bottom of the ad to schedule my HVAC tune up and also join their annual HVAC service plan. I couldn’t have ever guessed that I always threw out that advertisement thinking that it was a piece of junk mail!
