My grandmother insisted we call an AC professional to her home

We were meant to spend the holidays without parents out of the country.

But, there was a huge snowstorm that grounded all the flights.

We had already travelled from home and did not want to go back to spend time alone. We planned on joining our cousins at our grandma’s house in the countryside. When the storm was over, we got a car and drove to surprise all of them. They were so happy to see us, and we knew we’d all have a lovely holiday. One morning, we woke up to a banging noise in the house coming from the AC unit. Grandma asked us to check it out, but we were not sure what was happening in the unit. We turned it off, and she insisted we get an AC mechanic to come and repair it. It was winter, and no one wanted to endure the cold weather. My brother had some experience working on AC units, but grandma did not want to risk a house full of people. We obeyed her wishes and called an AC mechanic to come and inspect the cause of the banging noise. The AC mechanic took time to get to the house since there was snow everywhere. Once he opened up that AC unit, he noticed that part of the fan blade had come off. This part was being blown inside the unit and had even caused some electrical wires to loosen. The best way to repair the faulty AC fan was to remove it and install a new one since it was worn out. Grandma agreed to this, and the AC mechanic began taking the air conditioner apart to replace the aging fan. In addition, he had to tighten the loose electrical wires which had come loose due to the loose fan blade.
