I see a lot of stupid people on the news.
There’s always someone doing something stupid that risks theirs and others lives. I’ve seen all kinds of silly things, but lately I saw entirely the dumbest things by far, which takes the cake for anything else I’ve seen. Someone had tried to steal a cooling device from a Heating and Air Conditioning business! I don’t have much knowledge on cooling units, so I don’t know how much they are worth but I don’t guess it’s worth that much! It was caught on a camera, the guy tying a rope around the a/c system and attaching it to his car. He then attempted to drive off, which the rope came off, he then must have realized it wasn’t going to work and drove his car INTO the store to get closer. He tried to unaffix the a/c device physically and put it into the car, which didn’t work either. He stopped and looked up in the air and I could almost see his brain flatline. He finally decided to steal a mini a/c system that was attached to the floor and he managed to yank that cooling system with his car and DRAG it across the road, damaging it beyond repair. He crashed his car into the store a couple of times and his license plate fell off, in a panic he drove away, still with the cooling system unit attached to his car! Obviously, the police were able to find him and arrest him for theft, and this guy gave the excuse that the cooling system became stuck to his car, rope and all, after he “accidentally” crashed into their store. The stupidity of some people.
