Mold in home due to flood

I live in Tornado Alley and with tornados comes the extreme weather.

A few months ago we had an emergency evacuation due to a tornado and I had no choice however for my own safety to leave my home, then when I returned I was blessed enough that my condo was still standing. However the tornado had brought with it heavy flooding and I couldn’t get to my house because the water level was too high. After a few nights, I was at last able to return home, I went to turn on my air conditioner, only to find it didn’t work. I figured it had been mangled from the flood waters. I decided to get it looked at by a HVAC company. I called out the air conditioner supplier and was able to have someone come the next day. I was given the diagnostics and come to find out my ductwork had been completely ruined by all the dirt and grime from the flood water. I would need a new HVAC system, but this is where my search began. I started checking all the cooling & air conditioner products on the websites of heating and cooling companies. At last after a few days of searching the internet, I found a new air conditioner. The entire time I wasn’t staying at home while my house was repaired from the flood damage. The worst spot was the dampness and humidity had started to cause mold growth. It took forever for my home to be normal again.
