I live in Tornado Alley, and with tornados comes the dire weather.
Just this month all of us had an emergency evacuation due to a tornado and I had no option but for my own safety to leave my home! When I returned I was blessed enough that my new home was still standing, but the tornado had brought with it heavy flooding and I couldn’t get to my house because the water level was too high. After a few days, I was at last able to return home. I went to turn on our cooling system, only to find it didn’t work. I figured it had become messed up from the flood waters. I wanted to get an evaluation on whether or not it simply needed to be repaired or if I needed a new cooling system. I called out the a/c supplier and signed up to have a cooling worker come out to inspect my cooling system. I was given the diagnostics, and came to find out our ductwork had been completely ruined by all the dirt and grime from the flood water, and I would need a new HVAC system. This is where my search began. I started checking all the cooling and cooling system products on the websites of heating and cooling companies. After a few weeks of searching the internet, I had a new a/c unit. The entire time I wasn’t staying at my home, our house was repaired from the flood damage. The worst section was the dampness and humidity had started to cause mold growth. It took forever for my new home to be normal again.
