It’s a terrible idea to ever try and date your HVAC technician.
- I somehow forgot about this fact last year when my air conditioning tore up and the world’s cutest HVAC technician showed up at my house to fix the A/C unit for me.
He was so adorable that when he asked me out to dinner, I couldn’t say no. He was so charming and nice and not only that, but he was able to fix my air conditioning system for me in record time! Anyway, I went out with him and we really hit it off. We ended up dating for the next nine months before I found out that he was dating someone else on the side. Since he had been lying to me for the whole time we had been dating, I dumped him right then and there. He was sad about it, but I didn’t care. I was done with him. Little did I know that I was still going to have to see him every now and then because he was still going to be my HVAC technician! Apparently, the HVAC company that we use assigns certain parts of town to certain HVAC technicians. And guess who always comes to my part of town? You guessed it. My HVAC technician ex-boyfriend who cheated on me. I hate to switch HVAC companies, but I’m beginning to think that’s what I’m going to have to do. It’s so awkward for me to have to see him when he comes over to work on my HVAC system now.
