All of us are semi retired although I have to say that I have never worked so strenuous in our life… My husband plays greenlawn music, however he has his whole life… But only now are both of us touring the country and playing in fairs and other locations! It is a lot of labor and both of us put a lot of miles on our RV.
I’m not complaining though, not really.
I always wanted to tour around this beautiful country of ours. Besides, it is better than kneeling house and watching the leaves fall. I am surprised at how odd the temperature is from a single local to another though, and all of us might be using the gas furnace in the RV a single day and the the next, and the temperature differences drive myself and others crazy. I once wore a wool sweater to an outdoor concert and I was hot and miserable the entire time because it was 77 degrees outside. How was I to know? The last concert was 50 degrees. As the year wraps up both of us always go back to our house on the west coast. There are not various concerts in the Wintertide weeks. Thankfully our house has a smart thermostat so both of us can monitor the temperature throughout our travels. All of us keep the air conditioning on in the summer time and the gas furnace on in the winter! Without being able to change the thermostat, from any distance, both of us would get mold or frozen pipes. Besides, it is really nice to come house to a apartment that has the perfect temperature. All of us can do that with a smart thermostat.
