Everyone is required to wear a mask to spin class

I absolutely love going to spin class.

Spin class is a total body workout done on a stationary bicycle.

My gym offers a spin class three times during the week. I am in the intermediate spin class. Our class meets at 6pm on Tuesday and Friday of each week. I love our instructor and he has more energy than any person I’ve ever met. He always makes the class fun and exciting. The guy trained to be an Olympian in the pentathlon and decathlon, but a freak skiing accident changed his life. The guys started cycling 12 hours a day to build endurance, strength, and stamina. He will never be an Olympic competitor, but he’s definitely in great shape. His story is one of motivation and perseverance. Last Tuesday, I showed up for class and found out that everyone will be required to wear a mask during class. Since there has been a breakout of coronavirus in some areas, the owner of the fitness center wants everyone to be safe. The masks will help prevent the spread of airborne pathogens and viruses. Masks are not mandated everywhere yet, but I have a feeling that it won’t be long in the future before everyone is required to cover their face in public. There are positive coronavirus cases all over the country and not just in big cities. We might be in store for a major outbreak that stops our economy and our country for months. Things already look terrible in China and it’s clear that the virus has already crossed the ocean.
