Over the last few months, life has changed dramatically.
Covid-19 has caused major problems in our lives and it is affecting the way we eat, work, and play.
I used to go to the fitness center three times each week to work out with my friends. On Mondays, we would work on legs and run on the treadmill for 5 miles. On Wednesdays, we would work on arms. On Friday’s, we usually use the pool to swim several laps. Everything has changed since covid-19 forced the gym to shut down. In fact, all of the gyms and fitness centers in this area are closed until further notice. Even the restaurants are closed and will only be open for delivery. I really miss going to the gym with my friends and I feel like my physical fitness is lacking. It’s way too hot and humid to walk or run outdoors and I am not getting the same amount of exercise that I normally would have in my life. I talked to a friend about the closure, because she works at a government office. I thought she would be able to give me some good news. Instead, she told me that it is likely that all of the gyms and restaurants will be closed for several months. I need to come up with a physical fitness routine that I can do at home. If shops and businesses are going to be closed for several months, I’m going to need to come up with an alternative way to stay healthy and physically fit.
