One of my biggest regrets is not paying more attention to my A/C.
Last week I noticed our house was having puddles of water pooling on the floor in all sections of the house where there was an air conditioning vent. Obviously my A/C was leaking water, and while I had ignored all the other signs of our air conditioning plan possibly being broken, this was something I couldn’t ignore. It started with the device making unusual noises, then both of us noticed our electric bills were abruptly rising even though the use of the A/C device had remained the same plus now there were the leaks. I knew I had been ignoring the problem far too long. With absolute reluctanceI dialed a HVAC technician to come and see the problem. I really didn’t want to because all the prices of the local HVAC corporations in our area were insane, however it was either that or live with a leaky, broken A/C unit! When the HVAC worker showed up the following afternoon, she went and took a look at our A/C. She then concluded that it wouldn’t have lasted much longer, and it was so pricey to repair it that it would just be easier to get a better one. So, I started shopping around for newer cooling equipment. It took me a month to find one in our price range. Once I had bought one plus had it professionally installed by a cooling specialist, at last all was well again. In the end I saved cash plus got a brand new central A/C.
