Amidst all this chaos we are dealing with now with the pandemic, I decided we needed to invest in a few things.
- Since it is becoming more difficult to get fresh fruit and produce at the stores, I decided that we needed to do some indoor gardening and outdoor gardening.
I started growing tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, and other vegetables so we could have fresh food. I was able to accomplish this by setting up a grow room with the proper lighting we needed. I also had to invest in HVAC zone control so that I could have the perfect climate control settings in this section of our home. By keeping the ideal temperature control settings, the garden is able to thrive and I expect to continue gardening even after we get past this crazy pandemic. At least we won’t have to worry about starving to death if the supplies of food run out everywhere. I also really appreciate the new HVAC zone control because not only is it perfect for the indoor garden, but it also allows us to save a lot of energy because we are not always having to heat and cool all parts of our home. Also with the use of a smart thermostat, the energy bills have gone down more than I expected. I am really happy about making this choice, and I do expect that everything will be alright moving forward. One more thing I have realized that I must do is to look for a great UV air purification system. I should have thought about that when I invested in HVAC zone control, but it’s better late than never.
